WHY DID GOD CREATE YOU/ME?
God created a unique person when He created you. There is only one of your kind. Also, He created situations of your life that only you are able to carry out God’s will here on earth. It is your responsibility to fulfill His good and perfect will.
Romans 12:1 -2 (KJV) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Throughout the Bible, God gives us instructions that we need to adhere too. I believe one of the most important is found in Matthew 22:37-38 NKJ Jesus said to him, “you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. This is not something you can ignore because it is a command. It says “with all.” Determine to follow Jesus and obey Him. Don’t allow anything come before Him. If you follow Jesus with your all, everything that is His becomes yours. This is your problem solver if you believe.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 says that God’s Word was given to us for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness. That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”
The Scriptures are full of answers on why God created you. I believe that many people have ask themselves, “Why did you create me God?” Have you ever searched the Bible for answers? Do you realize that the Bible has answers for all the situations we encounter here on earth? What is so sad is that many homes have at least one Bible, some have more than one. More fiction and non-fiction books are read more than the Bible. People read all kinds of material that will in the end profit them nothing. Today there are many versions of the Bible that are easy to read and understand. In 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV it says to “study to shew thyself approved unto God.” It does not say to show yourself approved unto men. God wants us to know the truth for our own benefit.
God created each one of us out of His great love. Have you ever thought that God loved you before you were conceived? That is kind of hard to understand. You were in the picture when God’s creation came into existence. If you really think about God and His creation, part of His eternal plan is in His infinite wisdom where He chose each one of us to be part of His family. God put us here on earth to begin the process of entering into His Eternal Kingdom forever. Because God wants us to choose our destination freely, He gave us a free will. If you read Romans Chapter 8, it explains what God wants you to do. He wants us to conform to the image of Jesus Christ. God sent His Son Jesus Christ to be an example for us to follow. Jesus told His disciples to follow Him. He is asking for each one of His creations to follow Him. He did not say to follow the things of the world. A major question is, why do we put everything before what God wants from us? When we do, that is why we encounter so many problems. Do you not know that God’s way is perfect?
When Jesus was taken into Heaven after His death and resurrection, God sent His Holy Spirit down to earth to enter into those that accepted Jesus as their Savior. The Holy Spirit is to guide us in the steps of Jesus Christ so we can become partakers of the divine nature in order to escape the corruption of world lust and desires according to 2 Peter 1:2-4. We must remember that God is Spirit and we can only worship Him through spirit. That is why it is important that we understand that is why we must have the Holy Spirit come to us through the new birth in Jesus Christ. That is so that God’s will is done on earth as it is in heaven.
God has created specific work(s) for each one of us. If you do not fulfill them then you are not only the loser but someone may spend eternity in hell. Look at Ephesians 2:10 KJV “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
Another scripture reference is Colossians 1:16 KJV For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him. The key words are for him.
God created us so fearfully and wonderfully: Psalm 139:14, so we will be to His glory both here on earth and for all eternity. We were foreknown and predestined to be conformed to the image of Jesus. (Romans 8:29-30) You need to understand His purpose for the life He has given us. Hebrews 10:5-7 says “a body you have prepared for me… to do Your will, O God.”
Everyone has received the calling of God. Not everyone will respond. A warning of what will happen is recorded in Matthew 7:13-14 KJV. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Don’t let your pride, stubbornness, ignorance, or whatever your reason may be to separate you from all that God has to offer you. His kingdom to come is like His Garden of Eden with more. No more tears, sickness, pain and suffering. You will live in His love for eternity in a glorified body. Acts 17:24-25 KJV God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things.
There is no time to mess around, wasting our time in doing our own will. We are here to do God’s will. We need to become extremely humble and acknowledge our weakness as a human being.
God created us out of His great love. Jeremiah 31:3 NKJV The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying; Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you.
God would not have created you if He did not want you and love you. I pray that you put your trust and faith completely in Him and become a part of His eternal plan. You would be surprised if you would yield to God’s invitation and let Him lead you into His truths. We need Him more than you can imagine. It’s a free gift that offers so much. All you need to do is step out in faith and receive what He has to offer. He loves you and so do I.
